Biopsychosocial eclecticism is incomplete because it does not address the important issues of differential causation and treatment staging. Psychiatric serialism goes beyond eclecticism to consider biological, psychosocial, and existential-moral

The author conducted a literature review to better integrate the current state of knowledge regarding the concept of anxiety. The review focused on history of explanation of anxiety that is Kierkegaard's Begrebet angst. Freud's anxiety concept,
the
Age
of anxiety, Tillich's anxiety, Lader's general model of anxiety, Gray's Behavior inhibiton system for anxiety, anxiety, signal anxiety, existential anxiety, spiritual anxiety and neurobiology of anxiety. Therefore, in the brief overview, the
author
discussed the historical background and possibility of integration for biopsychosocial spiritual dimention.
